A Camp Quality charity fundraising-night held recently at the
Stock Exchange Hotel by Perfect Parties and Picnics raised
$2200.
Julie Forster from Perfect Parties and Picnics said while the
number attending was smaller than hoped for, the generosity of
businesses in donating valuable prizes for the multiple draws and
the generosity of those attending and others who bought tickets was
rewarding.
Camp Quality's object is bringing fun and optimism into the lives
of children living with cancer and no doubt this money will be
welcome.
She thanked all those businesses who had donated goods to the
draws. She especially thanked Barry and Jenny Neilsen from the
Stock Exchange Hotel who once again allowed her the use of their
premises free of charge.
The band Dirty Water also played free of charge and extended its
stay as donations kept rolling in throughout the evening.
"We hope to have this night again next year for another worthy
charity," Mrs Forster said.
