Camp Quality's ACT Office was incredibly excited to receive a
phone call recently from one of our Albury Support group leaders
Gordon Miller. He had the fantastic news to share that fellow
group member David Kefford had won Albury Citizen of the
Year. Congratulations David!
This is actually the second time one of Camp Quality's volunteers
has been presented with the prestigious Award, as Gordon also
received the award for his tireless work in the community in
1991.
Both Gordon and David have spent years supporting Camp Quality
among many other community groups so it is wonderful to see that
like Gordon, David has been awarded for his efforts, time and
commitment. In a joint effort between Lions and Rotary,
Gordon and David have coordinated a weekly fundraising event for CQ
at the Albury Astor hotel, which to date has raised over
$92,000. They have also assisted in coordinating numerous
camps in Albury, the most recent being a Family Camp which was a
wonderful break for our families in need.
We are so lucky to have such dedicated and passionate volunteers
with Camp Quality!

Quality make a difference.
