TODAY marks the final performance of naughty musical Avenue Q,
which has entertained Adelaide audiences for the past few weeks at
Her Majesty's Theatre.
The cast has had some interesting guests in the audience,
including children's group Hi-5, and this week they made time to
meet the McDonald's Camp Quality puppets.
Pat Haynes, the Camp Quality puppet program co-ordinator, said
she'd loved the show so much she'd asked if she could bring her
team to meet the cast and crew of Avenue Q backstage at last
night's show.
"I was blown away by the production and thought it would be great
for the team to come and see how puppeteers work on a big scale,"
she said.
The Camp Quality puppets program is an educational show for
children. Avenue Q now heads to Brisbane.
