Blackheath Golf Club in conjunction with local Rotary groups and the Upper Blue Mountains community is conducting its annual Anzac Day Golf day on April 25.

As in fhe past the day raises money for Camp Quality, a very deserving charity that supports children with cancer.

In 2009 the day raised over $18,000 for Camp Quality and the organisers this year are planning with the local communities help to do even better, despite the economic downturn. All monies raised on the day will go directly to Camp Quality.

The day will start with an early breakfast followed by golf, and then a full afternoon's entertainment and traditional Anzac Day fun. This will include lunch, music, and the inevitable a major charity auction, raffles and silent auction. Golf is open to anyone who wants to play, whether you have a handicap or not. There are great prizes to be won for players at all levels. The day will finish with a traditional Twilight Anzac Day ceremony.

For those that don't play golf, lunch tickets are available for only $15, so come along and enjoy the great afternoon of entertainment to be had. Those that attended in 2009 voted it one of the best social days of the year.

To book either for golf or lunch call Dave at the Pro shop or (02) 4787 5643. If you would like to donate an item that could be auctioned then call the club manager, David Robertson on 4787-8406. All donations will be gratefully accepted. If you require any further information contact Christopher Wilson on 0419 239 375
