THREE mischievous puppets, Kylie, Dean and Melissa have been
teaching students a fun and positive message about supporting
children living with cancer and other serious illnesses.
They joined students at Launching Place Primary School on Monday
12 September as part of McDonald's Camp Quality Puppets
program.
The three life-sized puppets addressed the myths surrounding
cancer and demonstrated how acceptance, encouragement and tolerance
are messages everyone can be reminded of... along with some big
belly laughs.
Students were shown plays addressing bullying, tolerance and
acceptance, and the puppets educated students to have compassion
for children living with cancer and serious illnesses through
laughter, fun and unrelenting optimism.
