Parkes Public School students sat in on a special puppet show
where the aim was to educate them through fun and laughter of the
best way to support cancer sufferers particularly their
classmates.
Organised by Camp Quality, the presenters, via their three
puppets, proved that laughter was the best way to educate those
present about cancer.
The show was part of a regional tour and was co-funded by Camp
Quality and McDonalds.
Students saw how children suffering cancer can also go through a
form of bullying at school because of the side effects of medical
treatment such as weight loss and the loss of hair.
The show got a strong message across to children through the use
of laughter and comedy.
