Red Rooster began when the Kailis family opened the Kelmscott
restaurant in Western Australia in 1972. From its humble beginning
it has grown to become Australia's largest roast chicken
operator.
In 2006 the Red Rooster operations throughout the Newcastle and
Central Coast areas were purchased by Northern RR Pty Ltd. a local
Newcastle company with a wealth of experience in the poultry
industry.
Since then the number of Red Rooster stores in this region has
grown to 10 and employs some 300 young Australians across Newcastle
and the Coast!
Because we are local, causes such as Camp Quality mean a lot to
us. Many of us have been touched by the plight of some young people
who have faced terrible illness and we could not think of a more
worthy cause to support.
At Northern Red Rooster we are proud of our Newcastle heritage and
our association with Camp Quality ... if it's Gotta be Climb for
Kids ... it's Gotta be Red!
