Up for an inspirational challenge?
If you thought being a part of the Camp Quality family couldn't
be any more inspiring, then think again.
We are off to Kokoda. Come with us as we embark on a
truly inspiring and remarkable journey. Of course this idea is to
rasie money for our kids so it involves being sponsored.
About the trek
The Kokoda Track stretches 96 km from Kokoda village south
towards the capital, Port Moresby. It traverses the Owen
Stanley Range, the natural barrier that protects Port Moresby. It
is some of the steepest and most rugged terrain imaginable. It
offers the opportunity to experience Papua New Guinea's pristine
environment from lowland jungle to upper montain forest and back
again, and to experience the gentle pace of the local culture.
The Kokoda Track is a challenging hike in its own right. It is a
journey every Australian should make.
Fundraising
Entrants need to fundraise a minimum of $3500 prior to the
event. They are also required to fund their own tour costs such as
flights etc. over and above the $3500. A deposit of $500 per person
is required to secure your spot on this exclusive 20 person journey
(this goes toward the tour cost). Refer to Chessell Adventures for more details.
