Are you interested in becoming a volunteer
puppeteer? It's one of the most rewarding and
unique volunteering opportunities in the country.
Experience isn't necessary, although previous drama or public
speaking is a bonus.
CQ volunteer puppeteers are required to be:

Passionate about learning a fun new
skill

Physically able to lift and manoeuvre puppets
and equipment

Available one day per week, or fortnight,
for performing in schools

Able to learn and memorise scripts for puppet
plays
-
Available to attend training workshops once per
term
-
Be prompt and punctual for all shows and
meetings
-
Able to drive to show venues or meeting points
when necessary
-
Willing to follow all guidelines
in the Camp Quality Puppeteer's Agreement

Able to provide the names of two
referees
-
Screened to work with children as
required by National Child Protection
laws
