Jasmin was diagnosed with cancer at four years old.
- When the family was split between hospital, home and school,
Camp Quality took the whole family to a Camp to re-connect and
spend time together
- At school when her friends didn't understand her illness, or
why she'd lost her hair, Camp Quality was there to promote
anti-bullying behaviours
- We gave Jasmin opportunities to make friends with other kids
like her, take part in fun activities and build her confidence
- During long stays on the oncology ward our hospital program
broke up the boredom for kids like Jasmin and took their minds off
being ill
- Our family support program financially helped families like
Jasmin's.
Sadly, four years after her diagnosis, Jasmin passed away. The
happy memories, life skills and friends her family made through
Camp Quality continue to help them cope.
But currently we can only support 1 in 3 children with
cancer.
1 in 3 isn't enough
We need to be there for every child with cancer and their family
throughout their journey. We receive no government funding; we rely
entirely on the generosity of people like you to support children
like Jasmin.
