Amanda is a volunteer with the Central Queensland CQ. She's
a Camp Leader, a Companion and also helps out with fundraising.
1. What drew you to CQ, and what do you love most
about your involvement?
My sister was a companion and I loved hearing her stories
about the fun she had on camp
2. What have you learnt most about yourself from
your involvement?
That I'm stronger than I ever thought.
3. What personality traits do you feel you use by
volunteering?
Patience, sense of fun, stamina and endurance (especially on
camp).
4. What's a CQ moment you treasure?
Snow trip to Smiggins and inspiration from the campers to get
through my own cancer trials.
5. What do you love to laugh
about?
Funny things that the campers say and do.
