Feel like a challenge? The Great Illawarra Walk is on again and
the organisers are again raising money for Camp Quality.
This year the 100 kilometre walk will commence in Addison
Street, Shellharbour Village on the 26 - 27 March.
The walkers will make their way to Stanwell Park, enjoy a well
earned nights sleep and then recommence the next morning from
Stanwell Park to walk back to Shellharbour Workers Club.
The entry fee is $25 ($30 on the day) and walkers are encouraged
to ask friends and family for sponsorship.
"Walkers can walk the whole distance or just nominate a small
portion," Chris Lovatt, one of the organisers explained. "Last time
we had lots of walkers who walked the distance from Shellharbour
Village to Warrawong. Others joined the walk in Wollongong and
walked to Thirroul."
