Support Groups

Thanks go to our wonderful support groups at Great Lakes and Taree who raise funds for us all year. These ladies and gents work tirelessly to bring smiles and laughter to our kids and their families. Last year alone the groups raised $62,000. Thanks so much for all your continued support and efforts!

Myer Charlestown

The Myer Community Fund is dedicated to supporting innovative projects for Children and Youth which enrich their life experiences and allow for daily comforts and security normally afforded to most families. The team at Myer Charlestown headed by Helen Fitzpatrick is able to choose the project which they wish to contribute to and luckily for Camp Quality Newcastle they have been the chosen beneficiary every year.

Falcon GT Car Club

Once again the local Falcon GT Car Club held their annual "Show and Shine" Car show. The committee, headed by Karen Ellis work all year towards this event. Car enthusiasts far and wide are invited to enter their cars into the event which allows them to show their car to other enthusiast for the day. There are awards to be won which are voted for by the public coming to the show. An auction is held towards the end of the day with all proceeds from the gate, car entrants and auction going to Camp Quality.

RCR Stelform

Every year we are lucky enough to receive the proceeds for money saved from lost time injuries from RCR Stelform. Thanks guys for thinking of us and not injuring yourselves!!

Passmore's Business College

Each year Passmore's Business College ask their new students to pick a charity to raise funds for. We have been lucky enough to be chosen every year. Each year we have a great bunch of students who hold a bowls day, run raffles and sausage sizzles among other things, to raise funds.

Nabiac Motorcycle Swap Meet

This bunch of great people run a motor cycle swap meet every year with the proceeds of the day going to Camp Quality. Each year motor cycle enthusiasts meet to swap bike parts and stories. It is a great place to go if you are searching for that elusive part for your bike or you just want to go and have a chat to likeminded people.

Companion Credit Union

Companion Credit Union and its parent company Community CPS Australia are partnering with Camp Quality during 2010 to raise $205,000 to enable 280 kids living with cancer to attend junior camps Australia-wide. To kick-start the campaign in NSW a $25,000 grant from Companion has been given to Camp Quality and we are now aiming to raise another $30,000 to fully fund the NSW camp. To achieve this we are seeking the support of our employees, members and the general public. For more information visit www.companion.com.au, or phone 13 16 09.
