Recreational program

We hold a variety of camps including camps for juniors,
seniors, families, mums and daughters, dads and sons and parents.
Throughout the north there are all sorts of interesting and
wonderful places to enjoy.
Camps may involve water, rainforests, outback or simply a big
day or weekend of fun therapy. Who knows where we will
be off to next? And if we can't find what we want in the north
we'll travel elsewhere to find it. It doesn't snow in the
tropics so guess where we're going next year?
Be sure to keep an eye on our What's on section, it's where you
will find out about upcoming camps and other fun stuff we have
planned.

Regional hospitals hospital become a major contributor in the
years following initial treatment of cancer. This includes hosting
clinics from visiting oncology doctors and nurses as well as
providing ongoing oncological treatment for children.
Children's wards in the regional hospitals are on a smaller
scale compared to hospitals in capital cities, but they are just as
important. Treatment can be a very disturbing and painful exercise
to go through so we contribute by offering any diversionary therapy
we can. Camp Quality have also provided a fun and interactive mural
in the treatment room of the Townsville children's ward to help
with pain management.

Family support

Assistance in fuel, food, accommodation, telephone and
electricity bills are just a handful of regular areas we assist
with. We try to be there as much as possible for our families even
if it means just sitting with the kids while mum and dad talk to
the doctors.

What started twenty years ago is now a highly demanded hit
around the country. Our Mcdonald's Camp Quality Puppets
program is designed to educate children on cancer and its
effects. The puppet show is fun, interactive and breaks down
barriers and fears around cancer. The message: it's
uncool to be cruel!!
The program is at no cost to schools and 250,000 children
participate in 2250 individual performances each year.
How do I sign up to attend?
