activities to our Camp Quality families.

Recreational program
|
Our camping program consists of junior, middle, senior and
family camps. These camps provide a wonderfully
unique opportunity for a child with cancer, and their families, to
put their illness behind them for a few days and shift the focus to
having fun.
So that we can double the fun at camp our Northern Territory
kids team up with the South Australian kids and our adventure
begins once we board our flights south.
Our next camp is Junior Camp in October being held in Adelaide
and the theme is 'Ooey Gooey'. We currently run our main family
camp each year in the dry season, usually at the end of June. This
year we were based in Darwin and we are looking to broaden our
horizons in 2012 and lock ourselves in for some extreme fun.

Hospital program
|
Because we don't have children in hospitals in the Northern
Territory, our energy is placed in making sure families are looked
after when they return, we have set up a program to do just
that!
 |
Family support
|
Family support is a big part of our commitment to our CQ
families. We offer unwavering support to our families, visiting
them in hospital, staying with the children while the parents meet
with doctors and helping out whenever we can. Northern Territory
kids are special and need to travel interstate for treatment, we
will keep in touch with families during treatment, where if
requested we can notify our local office to give on-site support,
and also for family members such as siblings and parents remaining
in the Northern Territory by keeping in touch and engaging through
fun days, camps and visits.

Educational program
|
The McDonalds Camp Quality Puppets visit
the Territory and tour schools. We will let you know where they
will be so watch out for them! When our puppets next come to town
you will see it featured in the What's on section.
