Brisbane Lions Footballer
1. What drew you to CQ, and what do you love most about
it?
I was drawn to Camp Quality through many things. I really like
what CQ stand for and that's laughter. CQ is a great organisation
and I felt that I wanted to get involved to learn more about it as
I feel I have something to offer as I was sick as a kid and in and
out of hospitals. What I love most is that there are no limits when
it comes to laughter and Camp Quality is all about having fun as
well as being a professional outfit.
2. Why do you think 'Laughter is the best
medicine'?
Laughter is the best medicine simply because there is nothing else
that gives you a HIGH as much as laughing. When you laugh all your
problems seem to disappear and you feel free as a bird. You are
always left with a good feeling after having a really good
chuckle.
3. What do you do for 'fun therapy'?
Fun therapy for me is lots of things. I have fun when I go out to
dinner with mates and have a laugh. When I see my family and catch
up on all the old times. Being outdoors whether it be at the beach
or backyard being outside in the sun is always a way of fun
therapy. Most of all playing football is what I love and that
brings a lot of fun to my life.
5. What do you love to laugh about?
I'm the worst, I will laugh at anything. Sometimes I just can't
control myself. I think I have a good sense of humour so I find
lots of things extremely funny. It's the best way to be I think. I
love jokes and funny stories - anything that has a funny spin on it
will make me laugh. So if you have a bad joke try it out on me and
I'll more than likely laugh at it!
6. What do you hope to bring to CQ?
To bring a fresh face to Camp Quality. I aim to be of value as
much as I can. I look forward to sharing my experiences and helping
kids have a laugh, to put a big smile on their face and just to
have a lot of fun.
