Judge on My Kitchen Rules and Chef/Owner of L'etoile
What drew you to Camp Quality, and what do you love most
about it?
I was asked to host a Mothers morning tea for Camp
Quality and was so amazed by the children I met and their brave
families that I wanted to get involved. Having a son myself, it is
a parent's worst nightmare that your child would get sick but
having the support of a charity like Camp Quality would be
important so I wanted to help. The thing that appeals most to me
about Camp Quality is the fun approach the charity has, it's all
about the children and making sure they have fun while they and
their families may be going through a hard time.
Why do you think 'Laughter is the best
medicine'?
Laughter is the best medicine because, everyone can take it, its
free and it really does make you feel better, instantly!
What do you do for 'fun therapy'?
I have the most fun when I am with my son, we laugh a lot
and play games.
What do you love to laugh about?
I love to laugh about everything, I am always playing the
clown around people and love making people laugh. I guess i love to
laugh at myself!
What do you hope to bring to CQ?
I hope that I can bring some laughter and fun in to
people's lives, I had a great time at my first event and just
seeing the kids faces light up means you're getting it right
somewhere. If I can make a difference to one child and help
them through a hard time in their life then it will be worth
it!
