CQ main camps

These are our big ones!

They happen once a year. They are your next step up from junior camp. In some regions these are called Adventure Camps.

What happens?

Where do we start! Have you seen all the great photos on this website? CQ kids have a ball at camp! There are always a huge range of adventurous activities that are great fun. They also really help you build up your confidence. You will be able to choose your own activities from what is on offer at the camp you go to.

You'll be matched up to an adult companion who will do what you want to do!
If you're not feeling like the big adventure our quieter activities are also great fun. Craft is a favourite! If you want to have a go at an activity we do everything in our power to make it happen.

We always have a medical team at camp; they like to join in on the fun too. They are so happy to see you all out of hospital.

How long do they go for?

Usually, five days. We hold them in lots of different fun places that have awesome facilities and great food!

What are the sleeping arrangements?

All accommodation is in cabins or lodges, depending on the venue.  Rooms are often dormitory style with no less than two campers and two companions sharing a room.

Medical staff?

Medical staff attend all our camps. You can go even if you are receiving treatment, but it's up to your doctor to give permission. Even some children who are not very well at all are able to come to camp. It is amazing to see how the break away can influence everyone's mood and outcome.

How much does it cost?

There is no cost to families. Thanks to our generous sponsors and loyal donors these camps are fully funded by Camp Quality.

Who can attend?

Registered CQ children between the ages of eight and 12 years.

How do we sign up?

You need to be registered as a Camp Quality family. If you are a child under 18 living with cancer, or your brother or sister is living with cancer, get your parent or guardian to register you now!
