The Bulldogs

We love them!

What do you get when you mix two puppets, Giggle, and a team of rugby league players? Ok, we don't have a witty answer except to say it's something like volumes of laughter high enough to lift the roof (and the mood!).

We have formed a partnership with the Bulldogs to share our culture of optimism and positive thinking. From laughter classes to rugby league workshops and arming them with tools to think differently; there's been a positive change sweep across the field for the Bulldogs since 2009.

The Club is now recognised as a leader in the NRL in community engagement. Camp Quality is very proud to be an important part of this change and to be associated with The Bulldogs. Through our partnership we have been able to provide hundreds of Camp Quality children and their family's game day experiences and made dreams come true introducing our kids to their favourite Bulldogs players. But the impact doesn't stop there, through their sponsorship we have been able to send 230 children living with cancer to camp.

The Bulldogs sponsor Camp Quality

The Bulldogs are a sponsor of Camp Quality, and as part of that arrangement they make a generous financial contribution to us. Camp Quality have not made any financial contribution to the Bulldogs or paid for any sponsorship or logo placement.

How long has your organisation been involved in Camp Quality?

The Bulldogs' relationship with the Camp Quality is only just beginning! As a club we are very proud and excited to have Camp Quality as our premier charity partner for the next two years. With a brand new team, both on and off the field, Camp Quality's commitment to creating unrelenting optimism will have an important influence on the club as it moves forward into a new era.

What drew you to Camp Quality?

Camp Quality's values, spirit, and dedication truly epitomise what the Bulldogs club is all about. The synergy between the two organisations is remarkable and it makes perfect sense that we work together to create a positive difference. Camp Quality is a place of love and laughter, new friends, new challenges, and new victories. Who wouldn't want to be a part of something like that!

How do you motivate your staff to get involved?

The Bulldogs partnership with Camp Quality has provided the club with an opportunity to foster cultural change. With many new faces at the club, the relationship with Camp Quality will be central to what we are trying to achieve as an organisation. It will not really be a case of motivating staff to participate; Camp Quality's philosophy will be embedded into our day to day lives.

How does your partnership impact your workplace?

Whether you're a player, the CEO, or a staff member, every single person within the Bulldogs organisation has the chance to be empowered to make a positive difference to those families who are impacted by cancer. Our relationship with Camp Quality provides everyone at the Bulldogs with the chance to make a difference. Camp Quality will also teach the people at our organisation life skills which go beyond the workplace, especially preparing players for their future careers beyond the football field.

What's the greatest treasure a child has given you?

Children really reflect what life is all about. Keeping it simple and having lots of laughs and fun in between.

Why do you think 'laughter is the best medicine'?

Laughter makes you feel good and it's contagious. So if you can bring more laughter to your life, you can most likely help others around you laugh more too. Laughter also puts a spring in your step and puts a smile on your face and really breaks down barriers for you to connect with others.

What would you say to other organisations considering a partnership with Camp Quality?

If you want to be involved in something special then Camp Quality is for you.
