Camp Quality fun to return soon!

COVID-19 has made these last few months tough for everyone. Here at Camp Quality we have missed seeing our beloved families, volunteers and supporters face-to-face, but we have been as busy as ever filling our online ‘Happiness Hub’ with Virtual Camp activities, Puppet Power videos, Campfire Storytimes and content from the heart of the Camp Quality family. Now we are excited to be back to planning what we love most, our Camps and Fun Days so our kids and families can have a much-needed break from cancer.

If all goes well with the easing of restrictions our next face-to face- program will restart from the end of September! There will be Family Fun Days, Family Camps, Kids’ Camps and a National Gradation Camp in Sydney in December. We are currently reaching out to our families to see what is most suitable to them in their area.

The Primary School Education Program also back to taking bookings for Term 3, and the Camp Quality Puppets, Kylie, Dean and Mel can’t wait to get back on the road and share their educational show with kids around Australia. Book a puppet show here.

At Camp Quality we have always prioritised a high level of hygiene to look after the immunocompromised people in our family. With COVID now placing an additional risk on immune suppressed people we are increasingly mindful of the guidelines set by each of the state’s health departments, along with the Federal Government recommendations during this challenging time.

COVID-19 restrictions require us to put further measures in place, such as social distancing, which can impact on participant numbers. We know there is an increased demand for these upcoming events, and we may not be able to get everyone on a program straight away. We will do our best to be as fair, equitable and transparent as possible during this process.

We are so excited to see our families, volunteers and supporters again soon, and most importantly, give kids facing cancer the chance to be kids again.
