Katie Bain Memorial Golf Day 2016
This year the Murwillumbah Golf Club will once again be hosting the annual Camp Quality Golf Day to help raise funds for children living with cancer and their families. This year the event will be in tribute to our very own Camp Quality volunteer Katie Bain who sadly lost her battle with cancer.
Katie Bain was not only a wonderful daughter, wife, sister and friend but she was a hero to the kids she looked after in her role as a Camp Quality Volunteer. We were so very lucky to have Katie on camp whose contagious smile and caring nature was present in everything she did.
If you can help support the Katie Bain Memorial Golf Day please register a team with the Murwillumbah Golf Club by contacting them on 02 6672 1799. Team entry will cost $100 each. It is an Ambrose event with minimum four people per team.
This year’s theme is Superhero’s, as requested by Katie, so don’t be shy, let’s show Katie what we’re made of! There will be prizes for putting, nearest to pin, longest drive and of course, best dressed!
Hole Sponsorship is available ($250 including team entry) please contact Melissa Bell at Camp Quality on 02 6651 4486.
Katie's parents Alan and Di Lowe have also organised polo shirts for sale alongside the golf day featuring Katie’s Phoenix and the Golf Day logo. For every shirt sold all the proceeds will go back to supporting Camp Quality. If you would like to purchase a shirt please contact Alan and Di Lowe on (02) 6679 4289 or by mobile: 0417 959 404.
The shirts will come in men’s, women’s and kids sizes! The shirts will be sold at the golf day, if you can’t make it we can still organise one for you!
