Virgin Australia on board as platinum sponsor for 1000 K's 4 Kids
We want to welcome Virgin Australia as the platinum sponsor of this year's Camp Quality 1000 K's 4 Kids. The Virgin Australia Camp Quality 1000 K's 4 Kids will see Camp Quality supporters, including several dads with children living with cancer, saddle up for one of Australia's most scenic cycle challenges which kicks off at Dreamworld on the Gold Coast and passes through the towns of Beaudesert, Woodenbong, Casino, Tenterfield, Glenn Innes, Bingara, Manilla, Quirindi and Muswellbrook. The support crew of 20 will offer expert medical and mechanical advice, sports massages and Camp Quality's signature 'fun therapy' to motivate and energise the cyclists.
Donna George, Events Manager, said: "We're so excited to have Virgin Australia come on board as a platinum sponsor for the 1,000 K's 4 Kids this year. The partnership will mean a great support to the event and help us raise as much money as we can for children living with cancer in Australia."
The cycle ride challenge will stop off at local schools en route where the Camp Quality puppets will do excerpts from their show which teaches pupils about how to be supportive of children living with cancer. Last year, the cycle ride raised over $302,000 - enough to give 330 children and their families a healing break from the stresses of cancer.
