Cyclist Sarah Dunn will have her son, Harry, on her mind when she takes part in the Virgin Australia Camp Quality 1,000 K's 4 Kids bike ride on Friday.
Sarah’s husband Dean was in the middle of the same event three years ago, but had to return to Singleton at news of the bus crash that claimed Harry’s life.
So far in 2015, Sarah has ridden her bike 6250km including about 57,800m of hill climbs in preparation for the 10-day journey. Just as impressive is the $13,000 she has raised for the Hunter Newcastle branch of Camp Quality this year.
Virgin Australia Camp Quality 1,000 K's 4 Kids is a fantastic 10 day, 1,000 km, bike ride adventure which raises much-needed funds for the kids of Camp Quality and their families. The 1,000km journey to Newcastle commences at Dreamworld on Friday 4th of September.
