For children growing up with cancer, and their families, the routine of hospital and treatment can become all they know and, as a result, many miss out on the joyous fun of childhood, while families no longer get the chance to hang out together. Our recreation programs and camps give back some of that precious time.

Family Camps are a much-needed chance for families to reconnect with each other and make new connections with people in a similar situation. They are about laughing, making new friends, and glorious, grubby adventures! Family Camps not only help families develop resilience towards their cancer experience, they often help forge lifelong friendships, too.
Camp is the perfect opportunity to take a breath, relax and make happy new memories not centred on sickness – often for the first time since a diagnosis.
