Camp Quality families ‘Go Bananas’ at the Big Banana
On Saturday 18th February, more than 80 Camp Quality family members descended on the Big Banana Fun Park in Coffs Harbour for an action-packed Family Fun Day. Families travelled in from all over the Northern NSW Region, from Armidale to Tweed Heads to 'Go Bananas' at the Big Banana with us!
The whole day was mapped out which allowed the families time to experience all the activities on offer at their own pace. Adults and kids alike enjoyed an exciting day taking on the adventures of Laser Tag, ice skating, downhill toboggan rides, mini golf, and the water slides. The day also provided ample opportunity for quality family bonding time, as well as catching up or establishing friendships with other Camp Quality families.
As always, the crew at the Big Banana were fantastic hosts and looked after all the families with enthusiasm. They served us up a scrumptious lunch whilst families took the time to catch their breath and re-energise for the afternoon's dose of fun.
Days such as these give our Camp Quality families the opportunity to kick back and have a day out together, putting the worries of the world behind them, even just for a few hours. There were certainly some exhausted parents, kids and volunteers by the end of the day, but a whole bunch of fun was had by all.
