Back for its 12th year, Yahoo Yalgoo has seen 5 Western Australians walking 56kms to create a better life for children living cancer in WA. The trek from the MMG (Mount Magnetic Gold) mine site to the shire of Yalgoo took the troupe over 7 hours to complete!
Supported by the Camp Quality Geraldton Fundraising Support group – these guys and girls set out at 5am on Sunday August 3rd and were welcomed with open arms into Yalgoo shire in the evening.
The team raised over $21k for children living with cancer, and we can’t thank them enough the amazing work that they do! Thank You Shauna, Peter, Laura, Monique and a special shout out to Vincent O’Brien – who's in his 9th year! If you add it all up it’s the equivalent of walking from Geraldton to Perth; we hope you’re all putting you feet up and having a well-deserved rest.
