About Camp Quality esCarpade
Camp Quality esCarpade is Australia’s happiest & wackiest motoring adventure! The 3000km, week-long journey is to raise money to support Aussie kids living with cancer.
The event is a culmination of year-long fundraising by teams (esCarpadians) who spend the year decorating their car, which must be at least 20 years (pre-1996) old, and encouraging people to donate to them. Each entrant must raise at least $5,000 per car which all goes directly to children living with cancer and their families – this amount doesn’t include additional expenses like accommodation, food or petrol.
esCarpade is a week fuelled by fun, full of challenges and rewards that will not only test your driving skills, but your sense of humour too! Along the way, esCarpadians pull into towns in a fanfare of sirens, horns, lights and colour. The entrants also visit local schools with the Camp Quality puppets. The puppets perform an interactive show which dispels common myths and misconceptions about cancer. It’s not a race or a rally; it’s a huge dose of the best medicine: LAUGHTER.
