Chatterbox Café’s amazing support of esCarpade and Camp Quality
For the last two months, Chatterbox Café in Belconnen has hosted a collection bucket to raise funds for Camp Quality esCarpade and the car ‘Mario & Luigi’. 2016 will be driver Marcus Hughes 2nd year participating in the event in memory of his son Daniel who passed away from cancer 11 years ago.
"We are participating in esCarpade to honour Daniel and to give something back to Camp Quality as they play a fabulous role in the lives of so many people going through a rough journey".
The whole Camp Quality family would like to thank Chatterbox and their staff for supporting Marcus with his fundraising. Over $1,000 has already been raised from customer donations.
Camp Quality esCarpade is Australia’s happiest and wackiest motoring adventure and celebrating its 25th year on the road in 2016. It’s not a rally or a race but an adventure fuelled by fun, mateship, and laughter. Throughout the journey, esCarpadians drive their animated automobiles (which must be at least 20 years old) through rural towns, stopping to lend a hand in local communities and visiting schools with Camp Quality’s Primary School Education Program to dispel common myths and misconceptions surrounding cancer.
