2016 Dick Gillard ACT Winner Announced

It's National Volunteer Week, and the winner of the prestigious Dick Gillard ACT Volunteer of the Year Award has been announced! This year's winner is the phenomenal Marie Vilardi, and here's what the Camp Quality ACT office had to say about her:

"In her short three years with Camp Quality, Marie has attended over 15 events! In 2015 the ACT team developed a brand new event to raise funds for our children and their families – the Giggle Ball. In its first year the event raised over $35,000 and tickets sold out (a huge outcome for any inaugural fundraising event). Marie was an integral contributor, and the success of the event is testimony to her hard work and dedication.

Marie is also an avid goal setter – setting herself the challenge to have 10 collection tins in restaurants and shops across the ACT, which she achieved in just a few short months.

Marie, the quiet achiever, embodies our values of excellence and integrity, and we’re grateful to have her as our 2016 Dick Gillard ACT Volunteer of the Year."
