Katie Bain Memorial Golf Day a huge success
Held in honour of a wonderful Camp Quality volunteer who sadly lost her battle with cancer earlier this year, the Katie Bain Memorial Golf Day was organised to raise money for kids growing up with cancer.
It was a special day for the whole Murwillumbah community who came together to remember Katie. She played a huge part in the Murwillumbah community, touching the lives of many children at Camp Quality in Northern NSW.
The day was full of fun and laughter, with activities ranging from putting competitions to novelty holes. Competitors were challenged with hitting off tyres, teeing off with hockey sticks and competing for longest drive on the day.
The fundraising event was an immense success, with $15,000 being raised for Camp Quality and our work to create the best quality of life for kids growing up with cancer!
Thank you to Katie’s Family, Rotary Club of Murwillumbah and the whole Camp Quality volunteer team in Northern Rivers who made this a wonderful day possible.
