Casey's Amazing Cause

Casey’s Kombi made its sixth appearance at Camp Quality’s wesCarpade. Driven by Darren Kenny, Casey’s Kombi is named after his friends’ daughter, he tells us of their Camp Quality experience.

“My friend’s daughter Casey was diagnosed with a brain tumour years ago and so we saw how hard that was and the help and generosity they got (from Camp Quality). That made us decide we wanted to do something to give back and wesCarpade was a great way to do that. The fellowship from the other entrants and celebrating the fundraising for Camp Quality is what keeps me coming back year after year.”

Darren's Incredible Adventure

Over the six-day adventure, Darren raised over $22,000! He has fundraised in various ways for Camp Quality and also helped run the Bunbury Golf Day.

2021 marks the 10th year of wesCarpade with many participants returning year after year for the comradery, adventures, and beautiful outback scenery but most importantly to raise funds for kids impacted by cancer and their families. This year saw Wescarpade raise over $155,000 for Camp Quality to help kids facing cancer feel like kids again.
