Local school teacher Alina has some fundraising plans that are a little left field and rather unique.
Alina is undertaking an ‘Innovation and Creativity’ course as part of her Masters of Education degree at Adelaide University. She has been tasked with an interesting assignment where essentially she must source a ‘product to trade’ – working towards something of same value or greater, ongoing! Alina’s idea was to add a fundraising element and see if she can entice even stronger support, acquiring items of significance and value to be traded so that the end result provides a product/ item of worth, to be gifted to Camp Quality ‘for use’ or ‘for sale.’
Alina has kicked off the activity and will show-casing on Marketplace, GumTree and Buy Swap & Sell. She’s created her fundraising page and wants to do as much as she can noting that as a teacher, Camp Quality and the challenge for kids and families impacted by cancer hits very close to home.
