The Cancer Education Program Visits Tasmania!
The Camp Quality Puppets had so much fun visiting Tasmania. The Mercury newspaper was there as they performed a show at 8-year-old Will’s school in Hobart. Will is undergoing maintenance chemotherapy after being diagnosed with leukaemia, and was so excited to meet puppets Tom, Ariel and Coach Grimble!
The Camp Quality Puppets have been educating Aussie kids about cancer for 33 years and last month revealed redesigned puppets, new characters, new shows, and teacher resources. The redevelopment focuses on inclusivity and telling the broader cancer story, including how to support someone who is facing their own cancer diagnosis or that of a loved one.
