Logan testing out his new bike
Bailey and Logan were stoked to receive bikes, presented by Ali Brigginshaw, the captain of the Broncos NRWL team.
Broncos staff recently spent an afternoon building bikes for a special family who have been doing it tough.
In November 2019, Bailey was age champion at Cross Country one week and diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia the next. He was rushed into emergency surgery and started chemotherapy at Queensland Children’s hospital. Later, Bailey needed a bone marrow transfer which was given by his younger brother Logan. Bailey’s compromised immune system and his bone marrow transplant meant he and his mother were isolated for months at a time in hospital.
