Camp Quality attended a cheque presentation at UPS Australia, where we were the very proud recipients of a $59,000 cheque! This funding will enable Camp Quality to develop new, digital and physical educational resources for schools, providing meaningful support for teachers and families. These new resources will complement Camp Quality’s Primary School Cancer Education Program, one of longest running schools’ programs in Australia.
The Primary School Cancer Education Program brings the much-loved Camp Quality Puppets to visit primary schools and pre-schools around Australia. They perform a fun, interactive show that dispels cancer myths and creates an inclusive community for children who have been diagnosed with cancer or have a diagnosed parent or sibling.
This funding marks the start of a new project thanks to UPS, and we can’t wait to see what comes next. UPS founder Jim Casey established the UPS Foundation in 1951 with a mission to help build safer, more resilient, and inclusive communities around the world.
An enormous thank you to the UPS Foundation for being so committed to giving kids facing cancer the chance to be kids again. It is support like this that makes Camp Quality possible.
