Why Family Retreats Matter
Childhood cancer is hard. Family life is turned upside-down and every resource is stretched to the limit.
For families enduring cancer, the very thing they need most can slip to the bottom of the list of priorities – quality time together.
Camp Quality Family Retreats are supported by NRMA Parks and Resorts and RAC Holiday Parks and Resorts, WA. Emergency Respite program is a more bespoke offering, with extra inclusions to suit grieving families and those in a palliative phase.

Families can choose from a variety of destinations within their state or territory, with more than 50 Camp Quality Family Retreat destinations around the country. Each is selected to provide comfort, relaxation, and plenty of opportunities for fun, so families can enjoy quality time together in a setting that feels truly special.

FAQs
Yes. Family Retreats are provided at no cost to registered Camp Quality families. Accommodation is fully covered so families can focus on relaxing and reconnecting.
Yes. While accommodation is covered, families are responsible for their own travel to and from the Family Retreat location.
Yes. Family Retreats are designed for the whole immediate family, including siblings, so everyone can enjoy time together and create positive memories.
Families with a child on treatment or a parent / carer on treatment are still eligible. We understand though that children and adults can get sick, so if you need to cancel your Family Retreat, please get in touch with [email protected] as soon as possible if you need to cancel your stay.
Up to four nights. Enough time to relax without the stress of long travel or extended time away from care.
Once you register with Camp Quality you will get access to our Family Portal. In the Family Portal, you can request a Family Retreat.
Unfortunately, pets are not permitted at any of our programs.
Families can request a Family Retreat in your state or territory via the Family Portal. Availability depends on demand and booking schedules.
Families can cancel at any time. However, as places are limited, we ask families provide us with as much notice as possible. This allows our team to offer the spot to another family in need. Please email [email protected] as soon as possible if you need to cancel your stay.
