SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN
Child safety is of the highest priority at Camp Quality.

Child safety is of the highest priority at Camp Quality. We are proud to have held a National Safeguarding Children’s accreditation with the Australian Childhood Foundation (ACF) since 2008. We have introduced several initiatives to ensure we create, maintain and nurture an environment that protects children across all our services and programs. Our processes were rated best in class by the ACF in their 2015 Accreditation Report and their 2016 Annual Review.
We have many measures in place to protect children, as outlined in our three policies and our codes of conduct:
- Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy
- Responding to Suspected Child Abuse Policy
- Working with Children Check Police Check Policy
- Code of Conduct
- Family Code of Conduct
You can also read our response to the 10 National Principles for Child Safety.
All Camp Quality staff and volunteers have undergone the appropriate screening, working with children checks and ongoing training to ensure the safety and wellbeing of kids in our care. Every member of the Camp Quality team is wholly committed to providing a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment for all children attending our programs and events.
