The Superheroes Of Cancer

When discussing cancer with children, there are lots of new words they might hear. This book helps explain the terms and the people involved in the treatment of cancer.

Discover the Superheroes of Cancer

When a parent or loved one is diagnosed with cancer, children are often faced with big changes — and big questions. The words, treatments and experiences can feel overwhelming and hard to explain.

That’s why Superheroes of Cancer, written by Kate Frost and proudly supported by Camp Quality, was created. This  booklet helps children make sense of cancer in a way that is gentle, hopeful and empowering.

Through easy-to-understand language and positive storytelling, kids learn that superheroes aren’t just in comic books — they’re doctors, nurses, researchers, parents, families, friends, fundraisers, and even the children themselves.
