Josh Langley Reads His Book, “Magnificent Mistakes and Fantastic Failures”.
Well and welcome back to another episode of Josh Langley’s magnificent mistakes and fantastic failures. Woo ho ho. Oh how exciting this. Right okay. We’re gonna get straight into it. I’m gonna talk to you about how you talk to yourself in your head. Are you kind to yourself? Are you mean to yourself? Do you talk harshly? Well, let’s have all work, okay. Because I want you to notice how you talk to yourself. Do you say things like, “I’m useless.” “I’m dumb.” or “I can’t find any friends.” ’cause you remember you need to be your own best friend. You have to live with yourself for the rest of your life. So you as you’ll be friends with yourself and that means paying attention to what you say to yourself in your head. What do you, how do you talk to yourself? Okay? So you’re gonna be kinder to yourself. So while you’re on the toilet having a poo or is drifting off to sleep, think about all the good things that have happened that day. All that had happened that week, all of that happened in your life. And then you can say positive things to yourself to give yourself extra confidence. Right, you ready? Are you ready? You’re on standby. You’re on the interview chair like I am. “Mistakes are awesome, they help me grow.” You can say that, “Mistake are awesome, they help me grow.” “I am perfect just the way I am.” “I’m not afraid to try new things, I’m brave.” “I’m a kind person.” and “I am loved.” and “I’m wanted.” These some things you can say to yourself as you’re drifting off to sleep, or you’re sitting on the toilet having a big poo. What else could you say to yourself? What other things can we come up with? Well, you think about that and I’ll see you in the next episode of me. Josh Langley.
