CASS Property Fundraising to Support Camp Quality

Cass Property is getting behind Camp Quality to support more kids facing cancer.

At Camp Quality, we’re in constant awe of our supporters. Recently, Sydney-based property-management company is fundraising to support kids and families facing a devastating cancer diagnosis.

The idea to run a campaign came up after one team member attended a Camp Quality event.

“We had always been aware of who Camp Quality are; however I recently attended a Camp Quality event which brought the organisation front of mind,” says Sammie, Property Manager at Cass Property.

The staff were incredibly supportive. “I don’t think there is anyone, who at a minimum, doesn’t know someone who has been impacted by cancer. While it’s difficult to say why one charity might deserve more than another, we feel that helping those impacted by children’s cancer is universal in being something that every human can get behind.”

Cass Property is supporting kids like Harry. When 2-year-old Harry was diagnosed with leukaemia, his family had no idea how rough treatment could be. While balancing the stress of Harry’s cancer diagnosis, his family also had a newborn baby to care for.

Harry’s family attended their first Camp Quality Family Camp and had so much fun. Before the camp, Harry couldn’t celebrate his birthday with a party because he was sick, and sadly he told his mum he had no friends. He was so excited to get the opportunity to meet some buddies at Family Camp and just be a kid again.

“We hope to assist in bringing more awareness to Camp Quality to our local area, as it was with us. We also hope to raise enough money to make a positive impact, in some of the children’s lives who are battling cancer,” says Sammie.

This Spring, Cass Property has committed to:

·       $50 for every marketing appraisal this spring across both sales and property management

·       $150 for every property leased

·       $500 for every property listed for sale

·       $500 for every property sold
