Recruitment process

At Camp Quality our focus is finding the right person for the position. When hiring, we take cultural fit into consideration as well as skills and relevant experience.

To ensure the process is fair and underscores the safety of our children:

  • Vacant positions will be advertised both internally and externally
  • Applications will be considered based on merit, skills, experience and ability to fit in with Camp Quality culture
  • Preferred candidates will undergo Working With Children Checks as dictated by relevant State legislation
  • Preferred candidates will have at least two professional reference checks completed
  • Preferred candidates will complete a psychological assessment
  • Once appointed, new employees will complete a comprehensive induction program and be subject to a six-month probation period
