Last Saturday an incredible team of fundraisers put on Band Together Against Cancer (BTAC), a day of family fun at the Victoria Hotel in Hinton, to raise funds Camp Quality. The day was jam packed with entertainment including bands, a jumping castle, a mechanical bull, face painting, food, raffles and auctions.
Organised by Simon “Nugget” Morris and a committee of past 1000ks and current Motocyc participants and volunteers, the event was hugely successful, raising over over $31K! The event really engaged the community with sponsors and donors jumping onboard to lend their support to help raise vital funds for kids and families impacted by cancer in the local region.
Despite weeks of rain and flooding in the area, the sun came out resulting in a perfect winter’s day!
Hundreds of people came to join in the fun with live bands playing from noon until midnight. With auctions, raffles and ticket sales, over $31K was raised for Camp Quality!!! An absolutely amazing effort from a group of fantastic supporters and passionate volunteers 😊
