KIDS’ CAMPS

Camp Quality Kids’ Camps give these children the opportunity to reclaim the fun and adventure of childhood and have a vital break from the challenges of cancer.

OUR CAMPS

Junior Camp (7–9 years)

Junior Camps create a fun and happy environment for children aged 7 to 9 to learn, laugh and rediscover their strengths.

Children impacted by cancer, including siblings and bereaved siblings, are able to take part in physical and creative activities that help them develop new skills, celebrate their achievements, and build confidence.

These camps also offer the opportunity for children to have a break from the intensity of the treatment cycle and meet other kids who understand what they’re going through.

After Junior Camp, children routinely return home with a sense of accomplishment, improved self-esteem and renewed independence.

Middle Camp (10–13 years)

Middle Camp has been designed for older children aged 10 to 13 so they can experience the joys of camping and develop new life skills.

Packed with fun, as well as creative and challenging activities, children dealing with cancer and their siblings are able to build confidence and self-esteem. It’s also an opportunity to meet new friends who understand what they’re going through, have a break from the cancer experience, and create fun new memories.

Older children are encouraged to find value in problem solving and working within a team environment. They also get to explore the role they play in maintaining healthy, positive relationships.

Kids overwhelmingly return home from Middle Camp with increased optimism and resilience to better cope with the situation they face.

Camp Quality also provides kids impacted by a parent or carer’s diagnosis a vital break from cancer.

Sometimes we combine our Junior Camps and Middle Camps into Combo Camps for kids aged 7–13. They’re the same mix of fun and challenging activities, with the chance to make friends, build confidence, and create new memories.
