A convoy of 22 cars filled with 4WD enthusiasts will depart from the iconic Big Banana in Coffs Harbour on Monday 20 July for Camp Quality’s FUNx4 2026, a fun, quirky and thrilling six-day adventure raising funds to support kids and families facing cancer.
Starting Monday 20 July, the event will bring together a passionate community of fundraisers as they travel from Coffs Harbour through the lush hinterland to the stunning landscapes of Brush Mountain and Bonny Hills, before finishing in Newcastle on Friday 24 July.
Now in its seventh year, FUNx4 has raised more than $700,000 for Camp Quality. This year, each participating car will commit to raising $4,444, with every muddy track and scenic stop helping Camp Quality deliver services and programs for kids and families across Northern NSW, and the country, going through a cancer diagnosis.
Camp Quality CEO Deborah Thomas says that FUNx4 is a powerful example of adventure with a sense of community at the heart of it. “FUNx4 brings together people with a love of four-wheel driving, a sense of adventure and a drive to support families going through an extremely difficult time. It is a challenging and unforgettable event, but what makes it truly special is the purpose behind it.”
“Every kilometre travelled and every dollar raised helps Camp Quality support children and their families at every stage of the cancer journey, through services and programs that bring positivity, fun and laughter back into their lives.”
Participants will begin with an opening night dinner and briefing before taking on six days of rugged 4WD tracks, scenic landscapes, and shared adventure.
Camp Quality is encouraging the community to support FUNx4 participants by donating to teams and cheering on the convoy as it departs from the Big Banana.
