Kids’ Camp in Tasmania

Twenty-one campers arrived at Camp Clayton, where they took part in adventurous activities including caving and waterslides. In the evenings they enjoyed roasting marshmallows on the campfire and an awesome silent disco.

One parent said,

“My kids had so much fun and have not stopped talking about it. As a new family [to Camp Quality] we wanted to say a huge thank you, not only for giving our kids the time of their life but for us to understand that there are people out there that are willing to help our family.”

Family Camp in Victoria

Seven families attended our camp on the Mornington Peninsula for families impacted by the cancer diagnosis of a parent or carer. Horse-riding, a swimming pool and mountain boarding were all on offer to help families make happy new memories to last a lifetime. The fun only continued with archery, a Disney quiz night and a visit to the luxurious Peninsula Hot Springs.

More than just a fun weekend, the Family Camp made a real difference those who attended with one family writing in afterwards;

“Words cannot express the depth of our gratitude for this amazing and healing experience. When cancer ‘happens’ it impacts the entire family.  Fear and fatigue dominate the space and the children (especially) miss out so much. Having a family escape like this with other families that have shared a similar experience, really helps all of us.”

Family Camp in New South Wales

Our families enjoyed stand up paddleboarding, water trikes and kayaking to keep them cool on this hot beach weekend in Port Stephens! Families chose between a shark and stingray encounter or a camel ride along beautiful Birubi Beach. The next day a discovery cruise took families to see dozens of dolphins.

One parent who attended the weekend said,

“This weekend made me realise I was not alone. It was amazing just to talk and vent amongst people who get it. I didn’t realise how much I needed that and I thank you so much for allowing our family to have this weekend.”

Junior Camp in Western Australia

Our amazing Junior Campers escaped into the world of video games for the ultimate playtime adventure at Kerem Adventure Centre.

Kids choose their hair, accessories, face paint and the colour of their Camp Quality T-shirt. Once they became their video game player, they entered the Nintendo world! Campers swung through the trees like Donkey Kong, went in a Super Mario Race in Zorb Balls, and Levelled Up in the in the water challenges! The day ended with a carnival including inflatable adventures, and 3 different flavours of ice cream. It was an amazing day of adventure for our video game ultimate explorers!
