Damian Sheather receiving National Gillard Award

Damian Sheather is to be named the worthy recipient after a loyal 18-years of service for kids and families impacted by cancer as a Rec Program volunteer and fundraiser. Through Camp Quality’s motoring event ‘esCarpade’, Damian has raised over $60K in the last three years.

Rebecca Calder, Camp Quality Family Program Coordinator says,

“Damian is a big kid at heart and when he volunteers at our Kids’ Camps, he always ensures that all the kids have a good time. Damian puts so much effort into offering encouragement, joking around and being a role model.”

“Not only does Damian play a vital role in the running of our programs, he helps us fund them too. Over the last 12 years, Damian has participated in our annual motoring event esCarpade. He has travelled thousands of kilometres, visited hundreds of towns and spends 12 months of the year fundraising to reach his targets.”
